Sustainable Groundwater Management Act Informational Meeting

Sustainable Groundwater Management Act Informational Meeting

Posted on September 22, 2015

Managing California’s  groundwater is a necessary and critical effort for everybody, especially those living in the Central Valley where groundwater sustains us. Farmers, manufacturers, packing houses, schools, recreational facilities, communities and individuals who use groundwater have both a responsibility and life-sustaining interest in developing and implementing the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA).  When new groundwater use regulations are put into place they will impact everyone: residents, farmers, business, and local government.

If you want to hear about or be part of this process, plan to attend one or both of the Informational Meetings listed on the fliers below. Whether you will be an enforcer (public agency) or you will be subject to regulations (general public), this is the time to speak your questions, thoughts and concerns. Spread the word and bring your neighbors!  Everybody uses water, every voice counts!
