Community partners join, create STEM program

Students residing at our Washington Plaza apartments and the Earlimart community participated in a collaborative engineering project where they designed, constructed and tested a working catapult. Through the project, a cohort of “Get on the Tech Bus” program, students learned about science and math concepts, including force that affects the speed and distance of the catapult.
