Loan Processor-Housing Rehabilitation
Salary: $19.43 – $30.14/hour

Self-Help Enterprises has an immediate opening for a Loan Processor in our Housing Rehabilitation Program.
As a Loan Processor, you will focus on participant recruitment, program eligibility determination, and loan processing. Experience in real estate, commercial lending, and/or federal housing programs is preferred. You must be able to work effectively as a team member, be detail-oriented, and maintain confidentiality of information. As a Loan Processor with Self-Help Enterprises, you have the opportunity to be the first contact with hard-working Valley families looking to improve their living conditions. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
Responsibilities
- Recruit participants.
- Determine program eligibility.
- Process and close loans.
- Work independently and as a team member.
- Work effectively on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Conduct community outreach and engagement.
Must Haves
- Detail-oriented and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- Relate well with persons of diverse backgrounds.
- Some night and weekend work may be required.
- Notary license or ability to obtain.
- Previous experience in loan processing, mortgage lending, or financial services preferred.
- Familiarity with affordable housing programs and community development initiatives is desirable.
- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is required.
