The Madera County GSAs and Self-Help Enterprises are hosting a water tour of the Madera and Chowchilla Subbasin. As the Groundwater Sustainability Agencies in the Madera and Chowchilla Subbasin are working to complete Groundwater Sustainability Plans (GSPs), these GSPs must consider all beneficial uses and users of groundwater under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA).

On the Madrea County GSAs Water Tour, participants will have the opportunity to gain a deeper look at how the Madera and Chowchilla Subbasin can balance beneficial water use and reach sustainability through cooperative water resource management.

Tour Schedule:

11 am: Tour starts at Agriland
12:30 pm: Fairmead Tour
1:45 pm: Ellis Recharge Basin Tour
