SUMMARY:Community Workshop: Groundwater Sustainability Planning in the Eastern Tule GSA (Terra Bella)
DESCRIPTION:Join the Eastern Tule GSA (ETGSA) and its partners\, Self-Help Enterprises\, Community Water Center\, and the Terra Bella Irrigation District\, to discuss the future of local groundwater resources. The ETGSA is a new GSA that was formed in 2016. ETGSA needs to draft and adopt a Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) by January 31\, 2020. DESCRIPTION:The Madera County GSAs and Self-Help Enterprises are hosting a water tour of the Madera and Chowchilla Subbasin. DESCRIPTION:At this  Madera Subbasin and Chowchilla Subbasin workshop\, information will be provided about the Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) development on the topic of Conceptual Undesirable Results (groundwater conditions that must be avoided in achieving sustainability). Residents from disadvantaged communities and small domestic well owners are encouraged to attend. \nThis workshop is designed in partnership with Self-Help Enterprises and Leadership Council for Justice and Accountability. A light dinner will be provided at 5:30 p.m. with the workshop to begin at 6:00 p.m. There will be opportunity for small group discussion and questions and answers.
