DESCRIPTION:On April 29\, 2019\, Governor Gavin Newsom signed an executive order directing three state agencies\, the California Natural Resources Agency\, the California Environmental Protection Agency and the California Department of Food and Agriculture to develop a comprehensive strategy to build a climate-resilient water system and ensure healthy waterways for the future. \nPlease join us for a community stakeholder meeting with State Water Board staff on August 28th at the Community Water Center office. This is a unique opportunity for community members and local elected leaders to share their recommendations and ask questions to the State Water Board staff about environmental justice issues that are impacting their communities specifically\naround water resiliency and the Safe and Affordable Drinking Water Fund.
