Self-Help Enterprises is seeking a motivated candidate for a key position in the Housing Rehabilitation program in SHE’s Visalia office. This is a great career opportunity for a candidate seeking a challenging business environment within a respected community development organization.
ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST
Position requires four year degree or equivalent experience; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing is essential.
Working knowledge of federal and state affordable housing programs is desirable. Successful applicants will be self-starters with the ability to work independently and will demonstrate strong computer, communication and analytical skills. The ability to relate well with persons of diverse backgrounds is critical.
This position will work directly with SHE partner cities and counties to prepare grant applications and environmental reports, as well as handle grant reporting, fiscal management, contract development, and manage administration of grants and contracts. This individual will work cooperatively with these partners to identify housing needs, access federal, state and local financial resources, and implement housing rehabilitation and homebuyer assistance efforts. This person will also represent Self-Help Enterprises and its partners at city council meetings and meetings with State of California staff. $2,980/mo or higher DOQ.
